It’s very popular here, but I love it and would consider using it.

Ahh, Arthur, one of my oldest loves. So gentle and handsome, and comes with the adorable nicknames Art or Artie! A perfect name in my opinion.I actually don't think of either the aardvark or the king, honestly. I think of my favourite 3rd grade teacher, whose name was actually Gerald, but who looked almost exactly like my favourite book character at that time - a Victorian gentleman-scientist named Arthur. I conflated the two in my little brain and created the perfect amalgam of a kindly, intelligent man.

I love Arthur and more think King Arthur. I enjoy the soft and strong vibe it has.

I love it, and I definitely think more of King Arthur. I'm a big fan of Arthurian names in general, so that will always be what I think of first.

I love Arthur.Being a Dane, I think of neither of the things you suggested. My first thought goes to a character on a Danish beloved/cultish TV series from the 1970s, where a character's named Arthur. The next thought? Arthur Weasley of Harry Potter.

Both; I don’t really think of one more than the other. It’s quite the mixture.I also think of Arthur from Peaky Blinders. The name’s lost its charm for me. I think it’s kind of ugly, really.

I love Arthur. I don't really think of the aardvark when I hear the name Arthur, I do think it sounds regal and sophisticated, so I guess I think of the King.

I definitely think of the show Arthur. I don’t think of the King. Arthur is handsome, and noble. I see the appeal, but it’s not for me.
