Please No! and don't name his brother Joshua - so overused I give them both 3/10

I like Jacob. I’d give it 7/10.

It's ok. Maybe a 5.

I’ve always loved Jacob. It’s one of the first names I remember consciously being aware of really liking (the other was Christopher). Something about the -cob ending just delights me.

I’d give it a 9 or a 10, simply because I never seem to tire of it.

I never cared for Jacob and didn't really understand why it suddenly got so popular like it did. It's heavy and clunky sounding. I give it a three, because it's not actually terrible.

I do like the nn Jake. My grandfather had a good friend we all called Uncle Jake (his real name was actually Eddie and I forget why he was called Jake) and loved him dearly. He was a telephone lineman and got hit by lightning once while up on a pole and had his false teeth knocked right out of his mouth, and was lucky that was the worst of it. He was a very nice man. Also handsome, false teeth and all.

My youngest nephew is named Jacob. It's meh to me. 5

The popularity is off-putting, but I still think it's a great (handsome) name. I might use it as middle name as it's a family name.

Personally Jacob is a 3/10 for me. I know a lot and the name is kinda overrated. There are better Biblical names out there.
