Winter for a boy
What do you think of Winter as a boy's name?

I don't like it as a name for any human. I do like Autumn on a girl. That's the only season name I like.
Not a fan, prefer it for a girl.
Terrible
It could work well in a setting where there are characters like Jack Frost and Father Time. However, names like Winter can be a bit polarizing because some people hate blizzards, the cold, flu season, and get the winter blues. I don't mind Winter, but I also like Tempest as a guilty pleasure.
I like it as well for a boy as for a girl, but I wouldn't use it as a first name for either. If I absolutely loved winter, then it might work as unisex middle name.

I think it's kinda bad. The word just has too many negative connotations. And sound-associations that I don't like.
It's not worse than Winter for a girl, though.

I don’t care for it on a girl because I much prefer Summer to it, but I couldn’t care less for it on a boy either. Refreshing choice though, I’ll give it that.

It works for me ever since I dreamt I had a son with Winter in his name. "Win" as a nickname would be real cute on a boy too, I think.
It just reads as pretty feminine to me. But I suppose I could potentially get used to it on a fictional character?
No
Winter is ugly for both genders.
