It's too much of a stretch for me, sorry. Sophie is a legitimate full given name anyway, so why does it have to be a nn?

I think Josephine nn Sophie would work. I prefer Sephie as a nn for Josephine, though.

My favourite full name for Sophie is Sophronia.

It's pushing it. Really pushing it, but I think it could work.

I suppose it could work but it seems like a bit of a stretch. This suggestion really amuses me though, because my grandmother's name was Sophie and her older sister's was Josephine. It's funny thinking of them having the same name.

I don't like Josephine as a nn for Sophie. Sophie is pretty enough on its own; I wouldn't call it a name that requires a fuller name! I really like Josephine on its own as well!

It's kind of a stretch, in my opinion.

It would work, but I'd much rather see Posey / Posy, Josie, or Jo for Josephine. They're all three much more interesting at this point than Sophie, and they make more sense to me.

I think it's feasible. Personally, I'm not mad on the name Sophie, and would prefer a different nickname for Josephine.

I never thought of Sophie as a nn for Josephine before, but I think it could work because they both have similar sounds with the S and the ph, if that makes sense.
