Estelle
What do you think of this name? I'm starting to love it.In my opinion, it should be more popular in the English-speaking world. It's unquestionably charming.

One of the most beautiful names out there :)

I like it a lot. It's got a clunky Edwardian elegance to it and it looks so beautiful written out.

The stress on the second syllable really puts me off. I far, far prefer Stella.

I think it’s pretty. I somewhat prefer it Estella. But it’s still pretty. I’m surprised it’s not more popular! It’s a beautiful name.

I like Estelle, Estella, Estrella, Stella, etcBut Estelle, in the US at least, is very much like an old lady name and so it feels dated. Probably to do with one of the most famous Estelle's being Estelle Getty of Golden Girls fame.

I'm surprised Estelle isn't having a resurgence BECAUSE of that! I know so many people of childbearing age who have an almost religious love of the Golden Girls.

I think it's beautiful. It wouldn't surprise me if it came back into fashion. Here's an oddity. There's no known explanation for it, but one of my paternal grandfather's brothers was named Estelle. It was pronounced ES-tul.

It comes across as very glamorous to me, and doesn’t feel dated at all. Stella should be an anticipated nickname though, which I don’t like at all.
