Re: Charlotte

I have a long history of back-and-forth with this name. There was a significant period where it was my favorite feminine name, popularity be damned - I was like, "My future daughter will be Charlotte Olivia Florence," boom! Done.
Then... something happened. I woke up one day and hated Charlotte! Maybe the excessive popularity was to blame, but I suddenly despised Charlotte. On more than one occasion on these boards I compared her sound to a "flabby feather." :-P
Luckily, the hatred died down, and Charlotte slowly but surely became palatable again. Given her popularity I doubt I'd use her as a first name in the future, but she's part of my stock combo Felicity Charlotte.
