Peyton
What do you think of Peyton for a girl? **After supposedly dying on January 30, 2007 after eating tainted pancakes, she returned several times as an angel and was revealed to be alive on May 17, 2011. )**

It’s such a stereotypical trendy-prissy name it’s not even funny.

Ugh. It's not appealing at all. I don't like it for anyone.

Absolutely hate this name with a passion! I find the sound so horrible, there’s just nothing feminine about it and I don’t even like the way it looks. A name I love to hate.

It's one of those names I grew up liking, and I still do - especially for a girl!

It's okay.

It’s ok. I prefer this spelling more than Payton.

I have a slight appreciation for this name after reading Peyton Place. That gives it a bit more weight. But the first real-life Peyton I ever met was the spoiled daughter of a hog farmer, so the name has a slightly piggy association, in kind of a bad way. And that's the thing that turns me off of it. It seems like a caricature of an annoying, bratty girl. It's not very likeable. At the same time, I admire its clipped sounds. It's one of the few names in my accent that gets that nice crisp T, and I enjoy that.

Peyton on a girl is okay. I first heard the name Peyton from Peyton Coffee, so I can see it on a girl. Peyton on a boy is also okay. I really don’t see what’s so exclusive masculine about it.The name Peyton in general reminds me of a surfer. The name looks a lot better than Payton, and overall weirdly bright and happy. Like a carefree, fun child who all of a sudden went emo.
