Alida

I know an Alida. She's one of my cousin's good friends, they grew up together. I remember loving her name so much when I met her. I still think it's pretty cool. I always thought it was Icelandic, because she's Icelandic, but maybe it's not? I'm not sure.
I love it. The only person with this name I ever met was a kindergarten friend. She was Polish/Mexican and her parents wanted the name to work in both places (at that time she alternated countries each year which seems confusing for the child and like a lot of effort for the parents but that's what they decided to do so it's good the name worked).
I like that it's short an simple an has a lot of nn potential.

I like it, but then I like a lot of Ali- names.
It’s okay. Aelita is better.
It's got a pretty sound, but also sounds a little like it could be a name for a tiny and flashy sports car.
I quite like Alida. The two times I've encountered the name in the U.S., though, it's been spelled Aleida - and that makes me want to pronounce it uh-LIE-duh. I far prefer taking that E out entirely.
It's okay, but not my style.
I don't like it
