It's really pretty. I don't think "Michelle, Michelle, you are a monster from Hell" would be much of a problem. Most people wouldn't think of it. Michelle is nice and deserves attention.

Very dated; lovely Beatles reference; my two close friends with the name, one French and one South African, both spell it Michele, which I prefer - looks neater and tidier.

I like Michelle a lot but like Michele even more.

Hm...it has a soft, pleasant sound that I like, but I far prefer Michaela to Michelle.
