Donna is a very very common name for older women in my neck of the woods. It's on par with Brenda (a name I hate). Most Donnas I know are very nice, so I don't mind it, and I wonder if its 70s energy will ever be "cool" again. Maybe once it becomes a great-grandma name? I see it's still being used in the Netherlands quite a bit!
