Bearable as a nickname for Dawn for a very young child.

Dawn is okay if a bit dated to the 70s and 80s but I don’t care for Dawnie. It’s too cutesy even for a nickname. If I were going to change up Dawn I’d go with Dawna.

I really love the name Dawn, but Dawnie is just too cutesy, even for a nn.

I think it's cute when said out loud, but it is pronounced exactly like Donny, which might confuse people as to what the bearer's gender is. I also think that this name written down looks like a stripper name, which I don't like, and I can't think of any other spelling I like.
