Clancy
I would never use this name. It sounds pretty bold and heroic on a man, though. I also met a lady with this name who was a customer at my old job. Plus there is a voice actor named Clancy Brown who voiced Mr. Krabs from SpongeBob SquarePants, who I like very much. WDYT?

Reminds me of The Midnight Gospel on Netflix. I don’t like it, it’s nerdy and flimsy and awkward.

I really like this name for a girl. Not so much for a boy, though.

Clancy is one of those quirky little names I enjoy whenever I see it but as soon as it's not around, I forget about it. Like Quincy or Kirby. I like it. It seems efficient, cheerful, and nerdy, and I find that endearing. But it also feels like its quirkiness comes from its lack of personality. I wish it had more of a 1930's newspaperman kind of energy, because I feel like it has that potential, but it's almost weirdly forgettable. Maybe I'll put it on my Uncanny Valley name list. How can something uncommon also be so bland? A mystery.

Clancy's is a chip brand at Aldi where I live. I don't think I like it at all.
