Doriana
So in my schedule of procrastination today, I fell into a Youtube rabbit hole of people freaking out over Meghan & Harry. One video criticized the name Lilibet Diana and suggested that they should have picked something like "Dee Dee" or "Doriana" to honour both grandmothers (Meghan's mom being Doria, and Harry's of course being Diana). I think the suggestion was meant to be a joke, but I kinda liked the name Doriana. It's fancy but also warm. WDYT of Doriana? Also bonus question if you like: what do you think of Dee Dee.

It makes me think of Doritos or Dora the Explorer. I'm not really into either association.Dee Dee is... dreadful. Am I allowed to use that word as an American without seeming like a tw#t? It really is horrendous. It's depressing and banal.

I would’ve loved if they named her Lilibet Doriana, but I still like Lilibet Diana.I love Lilibet and I love Doriana. I hate Dee Dee though.

I had an Afrikaans colleague whose names were Anna Dorothea; these had been combined into the nn Doriaan, pronounced more or less like door ee AHN. I liked it; it suited her - imaginative but down-to-earth.

Doriana is cute! Girly and vintage. And Dori is a pretty cute nickname. Dee Dee is okay… I don’t love it, but it’s fine.
