Elise
The name Elise has stuck with me for a while, what do you think? Pronounced e-LEES.

My first thought is Fur Elise. I can't say I like it, it feels lacklustre compared to Eliza.
Some use e-LEES, others prefer e-LEEZ. That's my issue with it; otherwise it's a good nn for Elizabeth, frequently used where I live.
I think it’s sweet. A similar feel to Eloise.
I grew up with an Elise who was a bit of an odd-duck. She was the only one I knew with that name for a long time so I always associated it with her, and it wasn't the best association. But we're long grown up now and it's easies to view the name on its own... and it's pretty, I think. Elizabeth is nice but so boring and common - Elise is a nice variation on it.

Yeah, that name makes you think about it, IMO. It's beautiful and tender, it seems to be better than Elisa, Eliza, Alice and even Louise...
After some time, (no, you aren't getting tired of it), you just leave for 'greener pastures' with Sylvias, Emilias and Elodies, but you still think that Elise is pretty. Although you aren't sure whether it's prettier than Lily.
