Theia, Dione and Thalassa
What do you think of these? I came across them while I was reading Greek mythology and I think they're underrated compared to a lot of popular Greek mythology names. Theia was an early Greek goddess of light and gave birth to the sun, the moon and the dawn. Dione was a Titaness who was sometimes identified with Aphrodite. Thalassa was a primeval spirit of the ocean.

Dione just makes me think of Dionne in "Clueless". Theia is okay but I prefer Galatea. Thalassa is too harsh.I think there are much nicer Greek names like Thalia, Galatea, Charis etc.

Theia is pretty, though I'd prefer it if it was pronounced THAY-a and not THEE-a. I like its origin.
Dione looks astronomical, but also kind of frumpy.
Thalassa is interesting, but as Laurenilene said, it reminds me of thalassophobia.

Super cute! I've always LOVED Thea, so this is a cute alt. I have Thalassophobia, fear of the deep ocean, so that was my first thought, but without that association I do like that name. Dione sounds SO cool out loud. So regal, it gives me butterflies!

I love Thalassa! It's so grand and...thalassic. I don't care for Dione because it immediately reminds me of Dionne, which I dislike.Theia is more exciting than Thea.

Thalassa is one of my oldest name loves :) I really like it, although I am fairly certain I say it wrong in my own head. Dione is growing on me, it wasn't delicate enough for my tastes when I was young, but I like it now, it seems gutsy. Theia is nice too - I think I prefer the more straightforward Thea.
