It's dated (like Marie is) and I kinda like it!
I like the style of -ee endings, in a way. Marie seems prissy next to Maree.

Really don’t care for it, would much rather Marie, Mary or even Mari.

Where I live, it's a surname.

I hate it. It does remind of the Pokémon Mareep though.
