I love Sarah I've always loved Sarah, it's so happy and sweet and no matter how many Sarahs I've known they've always been lovely people. I love it so much in fact that it is the anticipated nickname if I ever named a daughter Seraphina (but spelled Sara or perhaps Sera) some people have told me that it's a little bit of a waste to pick such an ordinary nickname for a long and uncommon legal name but to me it makes perfect sense for privacy reasons. The more common the nickname for an unusual legal name the better imo. Might as well use a common name I like. Plus the association with A Little Princess is so sweet I read the book and watched 90's movie for it all the time as a kid. Sarah / Sara has so much approachability and friendliness to it it's hard to ignore despite the common element to it.
