I’m not very surprised by Henry’s rise in popularity these days. With old-fashioned names like Eleanor, Adeline, Alice, and others.

I actually quite like it. I would probably use it myself, only as a middle name.

I love it. I think it’s impossible to assign an age to it, I can picture it on a baby, an old man, and everyone in between. It has a very light and airy feel to it.

I don't think it's dorky. I think it's bright, strong, boyish, cute. It doesn't feel heavy to me, just a little bit grounded. Manly but not tough. It doesn't have anything in common with stuffy old man names like, idk... Howard? Those are really unfashionable frumpy sounds.

It’s my son’s middle name. I see it as handsome and classic. It’s so popular on little boys now that it has kind of lost its old man vibes for me.

I'm not seeing dignity and handsomeness either. I don't mind Harry, but I always hope it's short for Harold or, preferably, Harald. It seems very dull and dusty to me, and all the King Henrys don't help. OK, they vary from dull and dusty to vicious and violent, but that's in the nature of kingship I suppose.

I've been really into it since first seeing season 1 of Once Upon A Time with my older sister 10 years ago. It was the name of the boy in the show. I didn't think too much of it prior to that but the character left a positive impression on me even if the show kind of lost it's touch as the seasons progressed. I love it though idk if I'd be "bold" enough to use it given it's popularity. I wouldn't mind if there was 1 or 2 kids in the school with a son's name but he'd be guaranteed to be one in a sea of them with this one, same reasoning behind setting Isabelle aside apart from MN possibilities. But if for some reason Henry dropped like 35-50 places in popularity the next few years sure why not? I'd give it consideration for sure but that's unlikely lol.

Nice uncle, has a moustache, maybe amateur inventor on the weekends although he works in a bank.

It mainly seems cookie cutter upper mid class to me and has for at least a decade. Henri is really endearing for some reason, and I like Henrik / Hendrik well enough. Hendrix is trendy in the US.

I do get a stodgy vibe from it, like Theodore, Thaddeus, Percival, but it's simpler than those. I think that's the appeal: it's formal (or like dressy casual, between Harold and Harry) and old and just itself, yet not as boring as John, James, William; it's a bit more like George, Louis, Patrick.

If you want him to have an old fashioned name I would change it. Maybe to something like Woodrow or Roger.

I like it well enough. I certainly don't actively dislike it. But I don't love it either.
