Eirian would be pronounced like Aryan in some parts of Wales, forcing me to pass on it entirely.

I rather like Eirene. I'm a fan of the three syllable Irene pronunciation since reading and watching The Forsythe Saga years ago. But getting people to pronounce it that way would be an uphill battle. Eirene might be easier in that respect.

Not sure about Eirian. It does have a nice meaning.

I like them both, but not enough to use. Eirene seems like a good way to get Irene pronounced as three syllables instead of two.

Is Eirene pronounced Irene? I think that Eirian is cool if you spell it Erian. I am not a fan of Eirene, but what do you think?
