Beverly is never used where I live; it seems to be an American speciality.Beverley is dated, and I never liked it much, even before a dear friend married a Beverley who was a most unfortunate choice.

I love Beverly! It's similar to Everly - which I liked before it was cool, but that's trending hard now - and it has the added connection to Beverly Cleary, whose books I admired as a kid. I also like the nickname "Bev," more than "Ev" I think.Finding a middle that flows is tremendously difficult, though:Beverly Adele
Beverly Anna
Beverly Arden
Beverly Faye
Beverly Hope
Beverly Irene
Beverly Jade
Beverly Jane
Beverly Maya
Beverly Merab
Beverly Rose
Beverly Sable

Don't really like it

It's a GP. I like the Beverly spelling, though it reminds me of Beverly Hills. Beverly feels very warm and kind.

I like Beverly. It's loud and friendly and dated in the right sort of way, and I enjoy that. I'd love to meet a young one!

I love Beverly. It's one of my favorite names.People on BtN seem to dislike it, but I don't know why. I think it's adorable.

It's my mom's name so I have a certain fondness for it, but it's not really one I'd use. It was quite popular a few decades ago and it may come back around but as of now it still seems a bit dated.

Interestingly, this used to be one of my favorite names when I was a child. No idea why. Did I meet someone I liked with the names? I don't care for it much at all now. With just a few exceptions, I am not a big fan of girl names ending in -ley these days.
