Oma
What do you think? It's short for Naoma.

German for Grandmother, correct?
It also means “grandma” in German.
I know a ton of people who call their grandmother this. But people still use Poppy despite it being another name for a grandfather, and I’ll never understand that.
I've never heard of Naoma before.... I fear this name suffers a double whammy of unfortunate associations: Naoma sounds medical and Oma just means "grandma" to me.
I think of a grandmother
It's granny in German, if I'm not mistaken.
