Sybil Julia is pretty though.

Sybil still needs to stay on the back burner at least another 15 years. It's still old lady sounding because there are still living old people with it. Plus the sound is just unappealing, like a kid with a lisp. I'm sorry.

I like it. The name has always felt a little stern and almost cold. I must have an unconscious association that gives it that feel. But hearing it on the right person would likely warm it up for me. Either spelling is OK.

I love Sybil Fern though, it's adorable. I also love the spelling Sybil, it seems more magical than Sibyl. And I like the idea of a Sybil "Billie" (rather than...Sibbie? Sib? What would you call a Sibyl for short).

Sybil's one of my favourites! I'll admit that the Downton Abbey character added a good deal of feisty determination to the name, that really made me love it. I think it's a cool choice and due a (very small) revival. I love Sybil Florence and Sybil Alexandra from your list.

My favorite combos are Sybil Fern and Sybil Julia.
This spelling is not my favorite, although it is common and widely used. It's how Sybil Crawley spelled her name on Downton Abbey.
