Audrey
Okay, as a very small child, this was my favorite name for a girl. I had a teddy bear named Audrey, and I named everything I saw "Audrey". From a flower, stop sign, brick wall, bag of chips...etc. Growing up, I've not met many Audrey's. In my 17 years of living, I've only met 3 girls with this name. Only one was younger, but the one was my age. The third was a 79 year old woman, but I was a little kid when I met her. Now looking at the past name charts, it's fairly common. I don't mind that. I definitely prefer it over Aubrey, but I don't find Aubrey an awful name for a girl at all. I can't for the life of me see Aubrey on a boy. The only problem I have with Audrey is that it sounds relatively close to Aubrey. I really like Audrey, though. What are your thoughts on Audrey?"You're a firework. Audrey is stunning (and much nicer than Aubrey, which I don’t get the appeal of, since it feels like the inferior version of Audrey to me). Audrey doesn’t sound good in Danish and it saddens me. I’d love to have used it.

The name itself is ckassy and beautiful, but I had very unpleasant personal associations with this name. I much prefer Audra though.

A beautiful name that looks good on anyone, I like it. Aubrey feels like a more trendy millennial version, but Audrey is a classic that keeps coming up on the chart.
