Savannah
What are your opinions on the name Savannah? As a child, I really loved this name. I still do. It's fairly common for my generation, but not too common. My generation is 2000-2006, so 21-14 year olds mostly have this name where I am. It has a lot of history apparently. Also, my family says that "It's only a southern name" which I think is ridiculous. I know a Savannah from Manhattan, so. Like, say my future daughter moved somewhere up North or to another country (if I don't move or anything after graduation). I don't think it would be much of an issue at all. Besides, the African Savanna isn't a bad association at all. A beautiful place where animals live. What are your opinions on that as well? Personally, I think that it's a wonderful, solid name. I can picture on a baby girl, teenager, young woman, middle aged woman, and an old woman. How about you?"You're a firework. Show your obstacles your brightest colors."-MeRate my name lists too!

I don't really like it. I prefer Susannah

Never thought of it as Southern and I love the city anyway. It sounds dated now but I really like it.

I actually like this name a lot. I never thought of it as a southern name. It always made me think of Africa.

It definitely sounds southern because of the Georgia city of that name, but it's popular all over the country and apparently in some other English speaking countries too.
I like it well enough to use it, I think. Top ten or so.
