I love the name, it has a great meaning. Definitely NOT for a girl though! There are so many girls names out there, let’s leave the boys names for the boys.

I don't like it at all despite liking similar names (I think it's smarmy but can't really explain why; it's like the Charles of biblical names), and it'd be slightly worse as feminine.

I like it for a boy but not for a girl.

Like other less-popular biblical names, it has a strongly religious vibe that I would avoid. On a girl - really? Why - because it ends in -ah and could shorten to Josie? Nah.

Josiah is a good masculine alternative to Joseph.

Josiah is strictly masculine imo. I would use it as a backup normal name if I can't use a uncommon name or anything else, I do love it tho.
