I dislike it

Lumi is so much cuter. Lumen sounds too much like "looming" (which is a pretty word but maybe not great for a name).

Definitely makes me think of the measurements on light bulb boxes. I like "light" names but this is a bit too technical, all I picture is the light bulbs aisle in a supermarket.

It's the space inside veins, intestines and other tubular structures in the body where stuff flows through. I can't see it as a name at all - it just makes me think of intestines.

Daft for either. Good for illumination ...

I prefer Luciana or Lucius though.

I'm not a fan, even though I like Lumi- names. For me a lumen is a measure of the amount of brightness of a light-bulb. It's not a bad association, though. But I'd prefer Lumi, Luminița, even Lumina and Lumíra seem to be more appealing, at least to me.
