Maberto seems an ugly mix between Mauro and Roberto.
Macaria and Macario are such beautiful unpopular names.
Maccabeo sounds playful.
I don't like Macedone and Macedonio, as well as other nationality names (e.g. Francesco meaning "French").
Macra is cacophonic.
Macrina sounds like "magrina" (= a little tiny).
Macrino: idem Macrina
Macrobio: the meaning is interesting, but it is cacophonic.
Macuto seems an ugly combination of "ma" (=but) and "acuto" (meaning "acute").
Maddalena is humble and beautiful.
Madruina sounds elderly.
Mafalda: I like it just because of the eponymous Quino's character.
Maffeo
Magda seems more Spanish. Anyway, I don't like diminutives.
I love Marco, Marta, Martino, Martina, Marzia and Marziale.
Massima, Massimiano and Massimiliano can work.
Massimina and Massimino don't give the idea of their meanings.
Massimo is acceptable.
Matilde is too popular and serious.
Matrona sounds too severe.
Matteo is lovely.
Mattia is lovely too.
Maurizio: I like it.
Mavilo sounds interesting.
