Gorgeous name, I love it. Imo it’s timeless and feminine and also ages well.
I think it checks all the boxes. Pretty. Spunky. Nice and short. Familiar but not too common.
Very pretty and slightly feline.
I more prefer Iva. It means yew.
(copied and pasted from an much earlier response, since my opinion hasn't changed)
I used to really dislike Ivy, because it made me think of IVs and hospitals / ICUs. But I still thought the plant was very attractive (when properly "groomed," so to speak). It's also reminiscent of the Ivy League universities, places of prestige and (ostensibly) sophistication.
Ivy can work very well as both a first or middle name - it goes with a lot.

I love it! I probably wouldn’t use it as a FN just because I tend to like long names. I’d definitely use it as a middle if I found a good flowing combo.
Ivy is honestly one of my favorite of the short names. Cute, classic and also grounded.
I like it well enough. I find Ivy pretty versatile -- cute when it needs to be cute, grown up when it needs to be grown up. Easy to imagine on an artist, a politician, a professional soccer player, a journalist, a stand-up comedian...
I love Ivy! I just find it so simple and sweet. I wish it wasn't so popular at the moment cos I would really consider using it (not that I'm pregnant anyway...)
Don't like it
I really like Ivy. It's mainstream witchy and there's something mysterious about it. I have a feeling it'll get more popular.
I'm actually surprised it didn't become more poplar as a filler middle name for the current generation, after Beyonce used it.

It's okay. Since reading a book in which the term IV (pr. eye-VEE, medical) appeared often I sort of associate it with Ivy and don't like it so much anymore. It's pretty in theory but it's so overhyped right now. I liked it a few years back and didn't expect it to become popular anymore because it has been well known for so long and it made more sense for it to become popular together with Lily, so about 20 years ago. Then when it finally became common I was like "meh, really? NOW?" and it became more unappealing. But in general it is still fine and a decent name.
