I think it's the 'que' ending that some people consider trashy because it's a more common suffix in many names that are more popular in the inner city.

Hah. That's an ignorant association for some people to have. 'Que' ending is more French imo than anything else.
I think Dominique is a nice name. I prefer it on a girl, but I could definitely see it on both genders.

I'm not trying to be rude, but my statement, although considered ignorant by some, is true where I live. I'm sorry if some find it offensive. That's not my intention.
