WDYT? I really like this name."When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do..." - Albert Einstein

I do quite like the name Iris and I love the meaning of rainbow. Perfect for a “rainbow baby” girl.

I want to like this name, but I keep thinking of eyeballs. Otherwise, it is totally fine :)

I like it. I think it's a nice, less common alternative to Ivy and Isla which are both getting quite a lot of use.

Iris is very pretty, I agree with you.

In my opinion it’s kinda overrated but the name is decent at most. The meaning is lovely however the flower doesn’t really look that good. 6.5/10.

I dislike the look and sound of it but I do like the flower. I don't get the hype around Iris, I think sound-wise it's about as attractive as Gladys and Doris (and I actually like Gladys and Doris much much better). I think it will go up a lot in popularity (Iris, I mean) so if popularity is an issue for you this might be something to watch.

Love it.

It used to be my very favourite name - I still like it, though not as much. I love the combo Iris Ariadne.

It's one of the very few flower names that I really like; perhaps because it's also a rainbow name!

It’s very pretty, but I honestly feel like only an old women could pull it off. Might just be a me thing, though!

I don't like it

I've got a soft spot for irises (flowers), but iris (structure in the eye) association bugs me a bit.
There is also Irida, a variant of Iris, but it's not as sweet-sounding as Iris.

It's one of my favourites, a strong contender for top spot in fact.

So pretty but with a bit of quirk. I like that it's not super long and ultra feminine but still sweet and classic. And the connection with the flower is lovely. I think it work best with a slightly longer middle name.
