Re: Kayley

It's okay but it already feels dated. I think I would like Kay by itself if people didn't say "'kay" instead of "okay" all of the time.
There are way too many spellings. Kayleigh feels like the original to me because it first became popular because of the song and the song character spells her name Kayleigh so as Kayleigh it has at least some substance and history. Also it's Kay + Leigh and Leigh is a common spelling alternative of Lee that is often seen as more feminine.
So I would use Kayleigh even though it isn't necessarily my favorite in looks I prefer it over the other because of the substance it has. Also, Kayleigh is by far the most common spelling in the UK and I like how there is sort of a standard spelling in the UK (same with Caitlin) whereas in the US so many variants are popular that you never know how you are supposed to spell it.
So Kayleigh it is and I think it is okay. Really 80s, 90s and really dated but okay.
Other spellings that I personally think are okay:
Caley - it looks like you used a family surname
Kayley - looks a lot like Hayley so it's okay
Kaley - looks like a surname and like Haley so it's also okay
Ceilidh - because of the dance
I know that Kaylee is the most popular spelling in the US and I shouldn't dislike it but it looks unfinished. In general names where you replace -ey or -eigh by -ee do that to me (unless traditionally that way e.g. the French Dorothée or Andrée). Haylee, Kaylee, Everlee, Emilee - they just look unfinished, as if they should go on and on and on, they are not closed or finished off kind of like Hayleeeeeeee, Kayleeeeee if you get what I mean, not sure if I explained it well.
Kaylie and Kailey don't look terrible but I dislike them anyway. I have seen Kaleigh a few times and dislike it. The worst are obviously spellings like Kayliegh, Kailiegh, Kaylei, Kailee, Cailiegh. It is one of my pet peeves when -leigh gets misspelled as -liegh.
