Alma short enough on its own I don't really think you need a nickname. As far as personal nicknames I find they're best when they just sort of happen among friends, if you try to force it, it feels more artificial. That's just my two cents on the matter.

Also sweetie I would take your surname out of your post for privacy reasons since you have an unusual name so people would be able to track you down pretty easily.

My advice is, if you don't already have a ickname that people use, don't force it. Your name just doesn't lend itself to being shortened or "nicked" and Allie is about as much as you can do. Lalma just sounds like baby talk. Teddy might be cute but again, if people aren't already naturally calling you that, it's best not to try and get that started now.

I really don't think Alma needs a nickname, since it's so short anyway.

I think Al or Ally would work. My sister in law goes by Al and her name is Alexandra.

Too much of a stretch possibly but I would go with Thea. The names Theodore and Theodora sometimes get shortened to Teddy.
