Thought I'd bring back this old post. Cordelia makes me think of flowing caramel, thick very thick and very sweet, enough to choke on, and green ferns shrouded in mist. Beautiful glass window panes in church, but no light shines through them. A marsh. The smell you get deep in the forest.

Green, gold, regency era fashion and art, the character from Buffy/Angel, stuffiness, cords.

It's a respectable name with an interesting history, but I don't like it much. I do like Delia, though, and Cori / Cora is okay.

As a name for a living person, I far prefer Delia.

It used to be my favorite name but not anymore. I still like it. I picture a kind hearted blond girl with curly hair and big eyes.

My friend has a baby named Cordelia so I think of her.

A brunette princess with loose curly hair. Very pretty and feminine. A bit cold and fussy. Very regal.
