Florence

When I was 17 I did a placement in a children’s nursery and there was a girl around 4 years old called Florence. Her father was a well meaning but very eclectic free spirit. I will always remember Florence skipping down the playground with dad running after her “Flossie! Oh Flossie darling”.
I will always like the name because of them.

I don't likeit at all
It's lovely.
I think Florence is going to explode in popularity in the next few years. Well, maybe not "explode" as in "rise suddenly and fast" but I wouldn't be surprised if it turns into the next Isabella, going from nothing to #1 over a period of a couple decades - it's already started, see how it's creeping up after not charting for almost 40 years? It is beautiful and elegant but in a more restrained, mature way, which is what I think tastes will shift to soon.
Florence Adele is like the poster child for what I think baby name taste will become in the next 20 years! It'll be so fascinating to watch.
Esme Florence is really pretty, very hypnotic.

I think it’s a lovely name, but hate the almost inevitable nn Flo. That’s why I prefer Florence as a mn. Of your combos, my favourite is Esme Florence, it’s absolutely beautiful. Selah Florence and Billie Florence are lovely too. My very favourite combo using Florence is Ada Florence though. It’s the name of my maternal great-great grandmother, but apparently she was rather a horrible woman! Still, I think Ada Florence has got to be one of the most beautiful combos I’ve ever heard. Not sure why I love it so much, just do. Esme Florence sure gives it a run for it’s money though!
