HelpHave you ever been teased or had jokes made about your name?
The subject speaks for itself. I figured practically every name has some sort of teasing potential, so I ask: Have you?
My name is Isis, you would think kids made my life a living hell with the jokes but ironically enough little to nobody does. Usually it’s only on the internet. The only one I can think of is “Isis stop blowing up my phone” or “Is-is”.

No one really ever teased me over my first or middle name. But my maiden name was a different story! Umberger so needless to say I got called Hamburger a lot in school!

Since "Emily" is the Karen of my age group, that. Also my initials are EEW!!!!

My name is Kelly and I'm not the smallest of girls. They used to call me Kelly Jelly Belly. That was at the mixed school and the all girl school.

I never had anyone tease me about my name. The worst I've gotten was a couple teachers not knowing how to spell it because it's not something super common like Sarah.

Oh, definitely. Elementary and Middle school were Hell, but I pulled through.

Only once, and that one pretty much came out of nowhere. This random kid at school called me "Sahara Desert," but I semi-politely informed him that Sarah doesn't have an 'h' in the middle of it, and the 'h' on the end of it is silent.

Fortunately I haven't, even though my name rhymes with a lot of things.

My true name is incredibly old fashioned and basic. So, yes.
