I absolutely LOVE it! In fact, this is the name I plan to use for a son and the only name that I'm insisted on. I would happily use it without a second thought. I enjoy it's simplicity as well and I also find it handsome and charming. Plus, it isn't a name you often hear about, which is like a nice added bonus. An established, almost rarely sought out name. :D

It makes me think of the word “coal”. It was quite popular around the time that The Sixth Sense came out, but you don’t hear it much anymore which makes it sound dated.

For me it will always be much better as a nickname option for Nicholas.

I used to like it but currently Cole is quite plain in my opinion. I rate it 6/10.

I wouldn't use it but I don't dislike it. I'd prefer it as a nn.
