I really love it because of its fascinating sound and meaning. I would certainly use for a child. I personally prefer the classical Greek pronounciation. To conclude, I would rate Selene 10/10.

I like it if pronounced the classical Greek way. I automatically want to pronounce it as seh-leen though, which according to this site is not even an option! Pronunciation might be an issue? It would make a good middle name. It's a pretty and kind of mysterious name that is underrated in my opinion.
