Kendra, Cedric, Misty

Kendra sounds pompous to me; I would never consider it, and I've never met one. It needs something ordinary and pretty as a mn; Kendra Louise, perhaps, or Kendra Florence.
Cedric is a name I've always liked, which might or might not have something to do with a particularly dishy schoolboy I couldn't help noticing when I was about 15. There's something Celtic-fringe about it, so Cedric Alastair, Cedric Fergus, Cedric Charles even.
Misty is fine on a grey cat. Or perhaps a grey horse. It really isn't human. Misty Seraphina; Misty Rosebud; Misty Dawn.

I like Kendra the most. Cedric reminds me of an eccentric person. I'm neutral on Misty; on its own, it gives me the same vibe as the lovely Mabel, but it does remind me too much of Misty from Pokemon.

I remember meeting a Kendra when I was quite young, maybe 9 or 10, and thinking it was incredibly exotic and beautiful - in the way that Kira or Zara used to strike me. But now I find it a bit cold and brittle. It reminds me of a runway model - beautiful, yes, but hard and soulless, a blank space you're meant to project things on. It's glamorous in a vacant way.
I like Cedric a lot. It's sweet and intelligent, old fashioned in a very cuddly way. I love "Ced" as a nickname.
Misty is a pet name to me. On a person it's pretty tacky, like Brandy or Tawny. It's got a pretty sound though, I'll give you that.
