Re: Rosalyn

1. I say RAH-zuh-lynn, which I like a lot. I know a lot of people dislike that pronunciation, but I think the other ones sound a bit wussy!
2. My favourite spelling depends on how you want to say it.
RAH-zuh-lynn: Rosalyn
RAHZ-lynn: Roslyn
ROH-sah-lynn: Rosalin, Rosalinne
ROH-sah-leen: Rosaleen, Rosaline
ROH-sah-lyne: Rosaline
roh-ZELL-in: Rose-Ellen, Rose Ellen, Rosellen
roh-ZAA-lin: Rosallen, Rose-Allen
3. I like it, particularly if she's called Raz. :) My favourites are Rosaleen, Rosalyn, and Rosellen. Rosaline reminds me too much of "rosin."
4. I could see the more "refined" forms, like Rosaline, coming around, but Rosalyn? Not really.

She had fallen against the windows, which were pressed against the windows, which were pressed against the old oak near across the age of the old Aunt Sophronia--was almost dreadful enough to walk on.
A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having.
