Re: What are your favorite unconventional nicknames for full names?

I've also seen Cricket used as a nickname for Christine....I think? In a soap opera. I think it would be cute as a nn for Christopher or Christian as well, on a boy.
Kit for Christopher pleases me a lot.
Antigone "Tiggy" is one of my faves although maybe that's not much of a stretch.
I love "Flip" for Philip or Felix, and it could work for Philippa too.
Ziggy for Sigmund or Siegfried, or Signy!
Iggie, Figgy or Fig for Iphigenia.
I find "Flossie" or Floss for Florence a bit of a stretch but I like it.
Oh, and yesterday I was trying to think of full names for Trixie beyond Beatrice/Beatrix and thought it could maybe work as a nn for Patricia!

I LOVE Antigone, though I could never get away with using it, sadly. Tiggy is sweet, I like it a lot.
I don’t like the name Christopher, but I do like Kit as a nickname for it.
I definitely think Trixie works for Patricia! I have a nana named Patricia and she’s gone by Tina her whole life, which is much more of a stretch to me.
