They're both not bad imo. I think I prefer the spelling Shaina to Shayna though, since Shayna looks a little trendy.

Shayna but they both seem trendy (formerly) boring and dated. No offense, but Shawna is hideous. I think I'd rather name a daughter Sean than Shawna and I do believe that Sean sounds very masculine.

I don't like Shawna with the "aw" because it makes me think of a drawl and it also feels a little dated, I'd dislike it for the same reasons a lot of people dislike Tawny. If there's a spelling without a w I'd like it more.
