Twins
My mom met a set of 2-year-old twins named Sadie and Sally. I thought this was funny because they are both nicknames for Sarah / Sara. I should ask if that was the mom's name. I just wanted to know what you thought of this.My PNL's: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/218753

I think they sound cute together. I have always liked twin names that start with the same letter or have the same number of syllables. I don’t think it matters that they are both nicknames for Sarah. I once knew a set of twins names Lauren and Lindsay and I thought that was cute. Rhyming names not so much. Stacey/Tracey or Cindy/Mindy?? No thanks.

Super cute! The names are so different from each other that I don't mind in the slightest that they originated from the same source. And if they are in fact both named after a Sarah then that'd be extremely adorable.

I wonder how many people will realise that Sally started off as a nn for Sarah. Sadie isn't used where I live so I can't form an opinion, but I do vastly prefer Sally to Sarah.I could find it in my heart, just, to approve of naming twin girls Marian and Marina, but really only as mns. Or, what about one mn and one fn: Alice Marian and Marina Clare? Joanna Marian and Marina Jane? Or matching meanings: Erica and Heather? Deborah and Melissa? Somewhat more subtle than Sadie and Sally!

Sweet, although I prefer siblings to have different initials

That is a little odd. I wonder if the parents realize that? Both are cute, just basically the same name. I have known brothers named John and Jack which I also found strange.
