No. No no no. Sashenka is a nickname only used for people who are very close to a person, like a lover or child. Sashenka is basically a nickname of a nickname (Sasha). Don't use this as a given name.

It sounds like a name for a pet? It also sounds very close to calling someone "a little clown" (feminine) (clown, masculine=šašek, šáša) Or also sasanka=anemone

Sort of cute. I said it out loud a few times, though, and found myself saying "Shashenka" more often than not. It's sort of a tongue twister for me, apparently.

I like it, especially for a dog or cat.

I know someone who has this as a middle name. It’s cute. Not my style though.

It seems way too nickname-ish. I know that Sasha is also a nickname but it works as a full name.
