Craig & Scott
What do you think of Craig and Scott for brothers? What do you think of the names individually?I personally find them both a bit bland but still snappy. I actually really love both names because they just sound like pleasant syllables to my ear. They give me the same general vibe without being very matchy.

Craig is actually my dads name, and Scott is my cousins name. I love them as names and I think they would make very good names for brothers.

Dull dudsScott is better than Craig, but I dislike both. They're trying too hard to be masculine and hard edged. Heaven forbid they have a touch of softness!

Dated and blah. Those are basically dad names, but they do match.

They definitely sound like brothers. Both are rather dated, but not bad otherwise.

Quite dated. I know a sibset Craig, Scott and Ashley, all boys.

I think I prefer Craig to Scott as a fn, but it's close. If I used Scott, it would probably be as a mn, but maybe not: one of my closest male friends has the ln Scott and it was his nn at uni, so I've got good associations.

Straight outta the 60s! Very sitcom wholesome with that vague sense of underlying uneasiness. Alpha males playing house. Craig is sort of handsome in a... craggy way. He sounds born with salt-and-pepper hair. It sounds like an old movie star. Scott is delightfully "dumb jock with a heart of gold". If parents used these today I would definitely think they are into rockabilly or something.

I like your description a lot! "Born with salt-and-pepper hair" is so funny but spot-on about the impression the name gives. I'm considering them for characters, so perhaps i could actually give them parents into rockabilly, if the setting is more modern.
