Chalcedony and Cerulian
What do you think of these for characters? Which gender? I can't decide.

I love them for characters. I'd make Chalcedony a female & Cerulian a male.“The longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of men. Chalcedony is nice, I think it's male, would be acceptable as female aas well
Cerulian has a nice look to it, I only like the meaning with a hard C (K). It's definately male to me.

Chalcedony looks like a male name to me. How are you pronouncing it?Cerulian reminds me of cerulean, and seems like a female name. It sounds very pretty, nicer than Chalcedony. They both sound like character names, as well.

To my knowledge, Chalcedony is prn KAL-seh-doh-nee. :o) But I just checked at dictionary.com and the correct prn is kal-SED-nee. I've never heard anyone prn it that way, but that's what the dictionary says. edited b/c I checked the prn.“The longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of men.
