Eleonora
I'm really liking the name Eleonora on a girl. Eleanor seems so plain, while Eleonora seems elegant in my opinion. Eleonora is a very old name, and I like how unique it is. What are your opinions on the name Eleonora?

I think it’s lovely. I love all versions of this name.Leonora (which I love just a tiny bit more than Eleonora) is quite trendy here whereas Eleonora would most likely still be the only one with her name in her class.

Fussy. Very fussy. I like Elenore more.

I like it/would use it, however I’m Italian so while it’s relatively uncommon it’s not particularly unique for me.

EleonoraEleonora is one of those names I used to not be a huge fan of as I feel Eleanor is harsh and clunky sounding to my ears. But I changed my tune when a friend of mine chose it for her daughter. After a few months it just seemed to "fit" her just right. Now I can't imagine her as anything else. Plus her NN, Nory, is absolutely darling IMO and completely up my alley in terms of nicknames. It's still not my favorite name but I've grown to like it for sure.

Eleonora is beautiful. I'm a fan of Eleanora and Leonora too. I agree that Eleanor seems a bit plain, Eleanora is a bit more....Baroque. A bit more florid. I wouldn't be surprised if this name gets a bit more popular, alongside Theodora.

Eleonora doesn't seem unique to me, because this variant of spelling is the commonest in my area. And I guess Elinor is older, it looks authentic to me. Either way I prefer Elinor and Eleanor to Eleonora.

Too long, too fussy, and I dislike the rhythm. To me, it's clunky and plodding rather than elegant!

I like the name! Per my personal style it seems a bit too elaborate and makes my tongue wiggle in circles when I say it, but it does flow gorgeously :)
