Don't like either spelling at all

Nice enough name but definitely hard to get past the spelling. It looks very off-putting, especially with seeing the word 'Evil' in it. :S

No. Evelyn is fine, but don’t make it evil.

"Evil" is what I hear with Evelyn anyway. Actually I think I prefer Evilyn lol

If we're playing with silly Evelyn spellings, I kinda like Yvelyn. Evilyn is fun in a cartoony badguy kind of way, but I don't find it that interesting

I misread this as Evil Lyn(n) at first, before realizing it's supposed to be an Evelyn variant. I'm not even an Evelyn fan, but that's miles ahead of Evilyn (even if the pronunciation is identical). Sorry.

The spelling tweak makes it unnaturally evil. Rather stick to Evelyn, or Eve.

The evil puts me off and I don't even like Evelyn that much, but Evie is a cute NN.
