I think that Carly is a really cute name, probably because it sounds like curly.
Eh...It's not the worst name out there. Just spell it as Carly, please.

I think it's truly one of the worst names ever lol. Carlie? is maybe my favorite? Coming from a hater?
Carl is already a bit awkward in English... and then you stick a bow on it... Carly. Now it's worse. And then you name your poor daughter this name. Just not very nice. I honestly think I'd rather be a Britney. Not by a lot though.

Nice, spelt Carly
It sounds like a “mean girl name” to me, not sure why!
Like it, esp Carlie.
Horrible.
I'm not even gonna get into this.

It's very dated; Carly is one of those names that surprises me when I see it. Like, people are still naming their kids this? Oh, ok. It's definitely on its way "out", it's had its day, so it seems a bit...anticlimactic.
The sound itself is kind of appealing, there's a warmth to it similar to Amber. But still, I'm not fond of it. Carlie is kind of ok I guess? I don't like Carli or Carlee at all. Carly seems the most flat and lifeless.

Not to my taste at all; remarkably, it even manages to be worse than Carla.
I like it. I like the way it sounds, it's so cutesy. I like this spelling but also Karlee is adorable.
What about Carleigh? KIDDING.. I HATE -LEIGH NAMES
I don't hate them, they just usually take me by surprise. Carleigh just doesn't look pleasing to me, but I like e.g. Calleigh well enough.
Hate it
It's dated, insubstantial, and infantile. It makes me think of gargling.

This is in my top five now, if I had a top five. I like it Carly or Carlee.
