I think it definitely works, and I like the idea a lot, as a name....it seems very hopeful. I *love* the idea of neo-virtue names for the future. The only thing is that I know quite a few people who have trouble with this word and turn it into "preservance" or something along those lines, which would be frustrating as a first name. I think it would be fantastic as a middle name, as a nod to historical events. And honestly I think it would go beautifully with a lot of the names that are super popular right now:Emma Perseverance
Oliver Perseverance
Charlotte Perseverance
Sophia Perseverance
