Maybe for a horse. Maybe.
What, as a name? Completely ridiculous and try-hard
I agree with Chloe that it would work better as a glitzy middle name.
For example:
Eve Hollywood
Irene Hollywood
Nanette Hollywood
Georgette Hollywood
Jeannette Hollywood
Inez Hollywood
Agnes Hollywood
For example:
Eve Hollywood
Irene Hollywood
Nanette Hollywood
Georgette Hollywood
Jeannette Hollywood
Inez Hollywood
Agnes Hollywood
It's great, but I really only like it for a boy. The wood part is very masculine lol

My first thought is the film Mannequin as there was a character in it called Hollywood. However realistically I couldn’t see it on a real person. Holly works though.
Terrible, I like holly though
I’m sure there are a lot of people with the first name Holly and surname Wood but being called Hollywood as a first name would be a lot lot worse.
I think having this as a middle name could work but as a first name it's too adjectivey. Like imagine it in a combo, or with a last name:
Hollywood Avery
Hollywood Jones
Hollywood McGee
It sounds like a joke.
Hollywood Avery
Hollywood Jones
Hollywood McGee
It sounds like a joke.
Maybe just Holly? I liked it when I was a kid.
It's definitely really bad as a given name. It's the kind of nn a hooker, a pimp, a gangster or some other "street" person would acquire for flashy clothes or a general air of Hollywood-ishness.
